summer house in Linescio

This summer house in Linescio by Buchner Bründler Architekten is a simple, unheated housing without water connection, at the top a Hayloft with gazebo-like views. Across from the building, built in knit timber construction with stone base. The building has for 50 years been broke lying derelict. The original archaic character of the stall was kept. The decision for a summerhouse allows, on heating to abandon Windows and insulation and thus to keep the facade in their original state. However, the Interior is completely redesigned as an autonomous body of concrete.

The Interior provides space for the basic needs of living: living room, sleeping area, fireplace and bathroom. The concrete for the construction of the Interior is cast from the covered roof made layer by layer. From the outside the building only in the garden door made of steel following glass and concrete fireplace is visible, the the case of the pierces the stock. The auxiliary is reinforced with steel girders. Is located kitchen and Bader room, which correspond to the overall concept in their sparseness. A new passageway connects the two buildings. An interaction between old and new results from the presence of the natural stone masonry of the stock inside.
