Cochon Butcher, swine bar & deli

Established in New Orleans, it’s a butcher shop, a sandwich counter and a wine bar. Inspired by old-world meat markets, Cochon Butcher specializes in house made meats, terrines and sausages, the fresh cuts are handpicked and ready-to-cook items available daily. You’ll go for the sandwiches, stuffed with house-cured meats. But you’ll return for the bar snacks, and a menu of great plates for under 10USD.

Inspired by the Cajun and Southern cooking of his grandparents, Louisiana native Chef Donald Link began his professional cooking career at 15 years old. Cochon, opened with chef-partner Stephen Stryjewski, is where Link offers true Cajun and Southern cooking featuring the foods and cooking techniques he grew up preparing and eating. Cochon Butcher is a tribute to Old World butcher and charcuterie shops which also serves a bar menu, sandwiches, wine and creative cocktails.

Read a review, and samplings of the sandwiches served here.
