Trends for the season, set by Sand fashion house

The design of the Danish Fashion house SAND is driven by passion, creativity and innovation. What started in the 80´s, until today grew into an international fashion brand. Cool Scandinavian silhouettes combined with southern European charm to maintain its provocative, sophisticated focus. SAND creates clothes for the way world citizens think, work and live.

. there is a desire for renewed neo-elegance this season. giving life to a formal, casual mash up.

THE KEY PIECES
The round neck and roll neck sweater. Wear it under the shirt like in the 60’s
The revised double breasted blazer has an important position
The deconstructed blazer; soft and comfortable as a sweater
The icon satin shirt appears in a new cool color palette
The check in both shirts and blazers gets darker like the shadows
Jeans are getting even darker
5-pocket in dark fabric catching up the wool aspect
Play with tartan checks that brings humour and heritage
The wool coat is here again; both in double and single breasted

THE COLORS
Grey and urban black are back on the scene, but also semi-black as black chocolate and black blue are important players
Warm glowing burning fire red and deep Windsor wine colors
Crown blue and heritage green
Natural brown scale from light camel to leather brown

THE FABRICS
It is all about soft textures
Wool in new combinations with cotton or silk
Donegal is fighting with herringbone to take the leading position
Checks get more monochrome and darker at the same time
Brushed twill, tweed, mohair and alpaca are all over in different finishings
